What to do in case of burst pipes:

3. If you have a cold water tank turn off the stopcock.

4. Next, you can drain the system by switching on the taps and flushing the toilets.

5. Turn on the hot taps to drain the system.

6. Switch off the electrics in case of water leaks in order to avoid electrocution.

 

Of course, we do not require you to do any of this, but it is best practise and helps make our job a little easier.

​Hot water cylinders in London

Many homes have conventional plumbing systems with hot water cylinders, that store hot water. We fix leaks on all cylinders, replace immersion thermostats( or stats), fix any problems with the supply of hot water and replace complete immersions on all hot water cylinders. Fixing gas leaks in London

If you have a gas leak, we recommend you turn off your gas supply at your gas meter immediately. Then open windows that are direct to outside to ventilate the room. Do not smoke or use any naked flames! If you are unable to isolate the gas supply you should contact Transco- 0800 111 999 or your gas supplier immediately.
